Peyton Watson and his representatives are seeking a contract in the vicinity of $28 million annually. Current offers are reportedly fluctuating between $20 million and $24 million per year. According to Brett Siegel, Watson's camp desires more than what Christian Braun received.

Out in Summer League where Peyton Watson and his camp want something in that $28 million north range. And the offers so far have been fluctuating between that $20 to $24 million per year range. And from the Nuggets perspective, when you're the clutch and you're Peyton Watson, you want something that's more than Christian Brown because he just got paid last year. I believe it's $25 million a year annually. And you want a deal that's going to make you better because they did use him more. He is going to be a guy that if they bring him back, and that seems to be where this is leaning right now, that he would be back in some capacity to Denver.
