It is the Jewish foundation upon which Christianity is built. People can argue all they want to. Jesus was Jewish. The early church, they were all Jews. Everything about the New Testament is built upon the Old Testament. If a person says, I don't really care for the Old Testament, then it's like throwing out most of the New Testament because the Old Testament is that upon which the New Testament is built. so as christian believers we owe the foundation of our faith to the jewish faith without the jews there would be no christianity
