Trump SAVE America Act poll Minnesota

    A new poll indicates that almost 60 percent of Minnesota voters support the passage of President Trump's SAVE America Act, which includes voter ID and proof of citizenship requirements. This support comes with a 25-point margin in Minnesota, described as "BLUE MINNESOTA." Congress is asked if they should pass SAVE. YES: 57% (+25) NO: 32%

    A majority of Minnesotans do support requiring voters to prove they are U.S. citizens when they register to vote. Congress must pass the Save America Act. President Trump once again urged Congress to pass a law requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote and to present a valid ID when you show up at the polls. According to our new KSTP Survey USA poll, a majority of Minnesotans, 57%, support passage of the SAVE Act, 32% say no, and 11% are not sure. We should be together, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, everybody, that it should not be a partisan issue. 90% of Republicans in our poll support the SAVE Act, along with 55% of independents, but only 30% of Democrats.
