LaVar Ball broke down the reasoning behind buying his three sons,LaMelo, Gelo, and Lonzo,supercars when they were young. He said, “I’m giving you BMW’s and these cars as you growing up so when you buy your own car It better be better than this raggedy Escalade and BMW.” The logic: set the bar high so they aim higher.

And I'm like, if I'm giving you BMWs and these cars as you're growing up, so when you decide to buy your own car that you work for and use your money, it better be better than this raggedy ass Escalade and this BMW. Don't talk about that. That's he learned ass. But now the cars they drive, Rolls Royces, Maybachs, that's what you, you working for that. So it got to be better than what I've been giving you for free. You know what I'm saying? So they mindset alone was like, they never was in awe. They never was in awe. They was going to school as superstars. Superstars. And I remember working out with the youngsters, man. Everybody says, oh, what car you want to give you? And Nello told them, oh, I want to get a Lamborghini. And I know everybody in the gym working out with us in the garage. He was like, oh, nah, you're going to get that. That nigga 16 rolled up in that sucker, they was like, dang. Oh, yeah, that black one.
