Drop the knife now! Do it now! A Florida man was arrested after he allegedly carried a flaming propane tank through a Tampa restaurant and wielded a pair of knives when deputies tried to take him into custody. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the restaurant Tuesday morning after receiving reports of an assault in progress. When they arrived, they found the building filled with smoke and flames while a propane tank outside was also on fire. Deputy say 53-year-old Rubiel Castillo was inside the restaurant holding two knives and repeatedly refused commands to drop them. Newly released body cam video shows deputies confronting Rubiel before taking him into custody, while surveillance footage appears to show a man carrying a flaming propane tank through the restaurant as flames spread inside. Investigators allege he charged at several people with two knives, cutting a woman on the wrist when she tried to intervene. Court documents also allege he cut a gas line connected to a grill, grabbed a propane tank, and ignited the fire. Deputies extinguished the blaze before taking the man into custody. Rubiel has been charged with first-degree arson of an occupied structure, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief causing more than $1,000 in damage, and other offenses. He's being held without bond. Authorities have not publicly identified a motive. However, WFLA reports investigators believe the incident may have stemmed from a domestic dispute involving Rubiel and his wife.
