Forrest Gump 32nd anniversary

Forrest Gump celebrates its 32nd anniversary today. The screenwriter had actually finished a sequel just before the September 11 attacks. That morning, he and director Robert Zemeckis decided the world the script was written for no longer existed. The sequel featured Forrest in O.J. Simpson's Bronco chase and dancing with Princess Diana.
