The Running Man novel vs film

    by Francesco Eunchae: Arnold Schwarzenegger

Stephen King's 1982 novel "The Running Man" shares its title with the 1987 film adaptation, but the two couldn't be more different. The book is a grim, dystopian story about a man hunted for sport, while the movie transforms into a bombastic Arnold Schwarzenegger action vehicle. Strangely enough, both versions manage to be excellent in their own right.
