Trump on filibuster and SAVE America Act

    President Trump just sent a direct message to John Thune and Senate Republicans, urging them to end the filibuster and pass the SAVE America Act. He claimed that doing so would ensure the GOP doesn't lose an election for a century. The full statement: "If we terminate the filibuster as we should do, and IMMEDIATELY vote for the SAVE America Act, then we will not lose an election for 100 YEARS." He's calling on lawmakers to listen and get it passed.

    We can only lose the midterms if we allow ourselves to lose the midterms if we are foolish, stupid and unwise. But if we terminate the filibuster as we should do and immediately vote for the Save America Act, then we will not lose an election for 100 years.
