New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been caught in a hypocritical move after it was revealed that City Hall is kept at a chilly 54 degrees Fahrenheit, even as he has demanded that residents set their thermostats to 78 degrees during the summer. The contradiction has sparked outrage, with critics calling out the double standard. The mayor's order, which is backed by the state, has been widely mocked as unreasonable. The NYC Police Union has also filed a grievance after July 4th paychecks were delayed.
