    by Gigliola: Michael J. Saylor

MicroStrategy (MSTR) has plunged about 80% from its all-time high, while Bitcoin has dropped only 55,60% over the same period. That's the reality of a leveraged Bitcoin bet,it magnifies losses as well as gains. Simon Dixon highlighted this exact dynamic well before most people caught on.

Simon Dixon had some words for Michael Saylor and Strategy. Let's see what happened. Okay, so yes, so Strategy announces a digital credit capital framework designed to strengthen digital credit, enhance liquidity, preserve long-term Bitcoin exposure, and support long-term value creation. So Stretch has been going down a lot, which is their preferred equity offer. We talked about it earlier with Tom. It was supposed to be kind of stable, and it was pretty stable, around like 90-something to 100. And then over the past week, it went down to like 70 bucks, like just crashed down. uh this i'll show you on the chart because it's pretty fascinating to see uh you know it was hanging out hanging out hanging out hanging out and then bang um as the price of mstr and bitcoin has continued to drop so mstr stock also in the absolute dirt uh when you look back from like the all-time highs it's down like 80 whereas bitcoin is only down like 55 60 ish percent so it's a leverage play on bitcoin so you get leverage play types of returns in either direction um but with that being said uh people are kind of you know freaking out about like is this thing going to zero and are they about to explode or whatever so simon dixon said still don't believe me when i said strategy was simply an arbitrage vehicle for the financial industrial complex i was saying it long before it became a popular view if it helped you get ahead of the curve i'm glad the lesson was never about one man it was about understanding the incentives behind the structure and who it serves. I think that is super fair. Simon Dixon has certainly called a line of that. And you know, it is what it is, right? Like not your coins, not your crypto. For me, I've always said, like, I don't really see the point of holding strategy. It's if I want Bitcoin, I'll buy Bitcoin.
