Claude Code skills token usage drop

Using Claude Code without any skills installed, I was all about that "I don't need extra setup" mindset. Then I tried installing one skill out of curiosity, and Claude started writing 54% less code instantly. After installing the Ponytail skill, it stopped generating 500 lines for problems that only needed 5. My token usage dropped by 90%. I can't believe I burned through Max plans for months without this.
