Court documents detail accusations of graphic ex-posts allegedly made by this man, Kevin Singh, directed toward the fever's Sophie Cunningham over nine months. Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears calls this behavior unacceptable. Well, it's just incredibly disappointing that somebody who really just wants to go out there and play basketball and represent their community ends up being subjected to this kind of conduct. And the allegations here are incredibly disturbing. Court documents allege it all started September 29th, when court documents accused Singh of hand-delivering a package to Greenbridge Fieldhouse for Cunningham. Inside, a Guns N' Roses t-shirt sprayed in cologne, and a letter. Singh allegedly wrote, I never watched the WNBA until you arrived, and I hope you hit me up. Court documents show in April, Singh is accused of writing, I'm going to marry you. Later, he's accused of making more explicit, sexually graphic comments. Anytime you see that escalation, you do wonder what is the next step going to be, which is why it was appropriate for law enforcement to intervene. Pacers Sports and Entertainment VP of Security John Ball sent Singh a cease and desist letter at the end of April Court docs accuse Singh of then targeting Ball and his family Those docs say he did that by claiming he made threatening posts. Cunningham told investigators she avoided her home and had nightmares. Police say she told them she did not feel safe and she is fearful of Singh. Where people threaten acts of violence, where people threaten acts of sexual violence against women. And it's totally uncalled for, but I think it does raise the issue of the larger conversation of what can we do to protect these athletes because they shouldn't have to be dealing with this type of commentary online every single day. Singh allegedly made the post while on probation in Hendricks County. He also has prior convictions for stalking, intimidation, and invasions of privacy. Some very similar allegations made in other jurisdictions involving the same person fairly recently. And so that type of information is always helpful when you're trying to make the determination as to is this person crossing that line from being a fan into stalking, into harassment. In custody for the next week without bond for violating his probation.
