The woman lifted her shirt to show the doctor her chest. She had recently undergone breast augmentation surgery to make her breasts larger, but the new implants were causing her pain. The surgery was meant to be a special birthday gift for her husband's 100th birthday. The doctor suspected that her oversized breasts might be pressing on her heart, which could be the reason for the pain. He advised her to consider having them reduced or even removed, but the woman refused to accept that idea. To rule out any misdiagnosis, the doctor performed a series of detailed tests. Surprisingly, everything came back normal. He couldn't figure out what was actually causing her chest pain. Puzzled, the doctor called a colleague for advice. They studied her case carefully but still couldn't find an answer, until something the colleague said suddenly gave him a clue. The colleague mentioned that the woman had undergone the surgery to regain her husband's attention, which implied that her husband had already lost interest in her. The doctor went to the woman's hospital room and asked about her husband's health. She explained that her husband suffered from high blood pressure. That was the missing piece.
