For Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' (2023), the film reels sent to cinemas were labeled with the code name "Gadget" to avoid leaks. This was a deliberate callback to the Manhattan Project, where "Gadget" was the code name for the very first atomic bomb , because at the time, it couldn't legally or safely be referred to as a bomb.
