Ellen Pompeo Grey's Anatomy $20M a year
Ellen Pompeo revealed that she earns $20 million annually from Grey's Anatomy and has no plans to leave the show. She recalled her manager asking if she was ready to be unpopular, explaining that not everyone would cheer for her because of her salary. Pompeo admitted that this hadn't occurred to her.

Well, my manager at the time said something to me that literally hit me like a brick. He said, are you ready to be unpopular? I was like, what do you mean? And he was like, well, I just don't want you to think that everyone's going to go in and cheer for you and clap for you and bow to you and think you're the dopest thing ever because there's going to be a lot of people who are not happy for you. And that had never occurred to me. And I was like, oh, thanks for saying that to me. It did not occur to me and you are so right. And so that was a good prep for me that he said that. But it's true. It's not everybody and other women have said it publicly like, no, people generally, it's hard for people to celebrate other people and if they have something that resembles something that they want.
