The man carried the woman outside. He proposed to her, but she didn't accept. She said she wasn't ready yet. The two drove home in an awkward silence. The man ran a bath for her, while he sat at the table eating. After her bath, the woman approached the man, faced with what had just happened. She didn't know what to say. She simply thanked him for everything he had done for her. At that moment, the man took out the ring again, saying he couldn't keep it any longer. Even if she refused, he begged her to take it. After saying this, he opened a bottle of wine, and began drinking with her. The woman felt very sorry, and explained that she simply wasn't ready yet. Hearing this, the man stood up to leave, but the woman grabbed his hand and wouldn't let go. She wanted him to stay with her. The man was torn at that moment, not knowing what to do, so he walked over to the record player, and put on some music. The woman slowly stood up, walked behind him and embraced him. The man turned around to return her embrace. Bolstered by the alcohol, the two began to kiss passionately. In the end, desire triumphed over reason.
