Finneas BEEF Season 2 interview
Finneas opened up about his work on BEEF Season 2, revealing that showrunner Lee Sung Jin (also known as Sonny Lee) actually wrote a scene around one of the songs he created for the series. “I’ve never gotten to score anything where, you know, I’ve been early enough in the process for somebody to write around a piece of music, so that was a huge gift,” Finneas shared. That was a scene that hadn't been written yet, and I sent that piece of music in just as a sort of a like thing from an earlier episodes script that I was making, inspired by the show. And Sonny was like, I'm going to write a scene for this, which is a real gift. I've never gotten to score anything where, you know, I've been early enough in the process for somebody to write around a piece of music. So that was a huge gift.
