It turns out there is a bizarre profession in America that most people would never dare take on. These specialists acquire haunted houses with a history of murders at extremely low prices. They then use special methods to remove the spirits and dark entities lingering inside. Afterward, they sell the properties at full market value, and earn substantial profits in the process. People call them haunted house cleaners. One day, Luke and his team finished dealing with a house filled with intense resentment. The entire team returned to the office for a debriefing meeting. Everyone was physically and mentally exhausted, but the alarm suddenly went off the moment they sat down It was obvious that the evil spirit from earlier had not been completely eliminated Based on his past experience Luke concluded that it was likely a powerful evil entity known as a wanderer. It had no fixed physical form and always moved in groups. It could freely jump between human hosts. It survived by feeding on human emotions and mental energy. The host could not sense anything unusual, which meant someone on the team had already been secretly possessed. Luke immediately instructed Technician August to build a device capable of countering the spirit and assigned Megan to assist him. But while Megan briefly stepped out of the workshop to answer a phone call, the spirit seized the opportunity to take over August's body. A few minutes later, August staggered back to the group, looking weak. He claimed that he had just been controlled by the spirit and had personally smashed every spirit detection device in the workshop Megan who had been with him was nowhere to be found He was filled with fear and anxiety He even feared that he might have harmed Megan while under the spirit control Luke immediately called his girlfriend Marilyn and asked her to buy a high-powered blender and bring it to the office. He then organized everyone to search for Megan. The building's elevators and stairwell doors had already been locked, which meant Megan could not have left the building. She had to be somewhere inside. Susan went to Megan's office. She searched every corner of the room, but found no sign of her, yet shortly after she left, inside the room that had appeared completely empty, Megan slowly crawled down from the wall, and sat directly in front of the computer. Her eyes were filled with greed. She stared intensely at the files of haunted houses on the screen. The sorrow and suffering attached to each property, were exactly the nourishment the wanderers craved most. A few minutes later, Megan also appeared before the group, looking exhausted. It felt as though every bone in her body had been crushed. she was barely able to stand. At that moment, Marilyn personally delivered the blender, August grabbed the machine and rushed into the lab, he immediately began converting it into a device capable of destroying evil spirits The others gathered in the conference room to quickly discuss how to deal with the entity As Susan watched Luke and Marilyn chatting closely the usually calm and reserved woman suddenly spoke out. She bluntly stated that Marilyn was lucky to have such a dependable partner as Luke. The priest's expression immediately turned serious after hearing this.
