J.R. Smith talks Cavs snub on The Pivot
J.R. Smith threw some shade at the Cavaliers, pointing out that even though he helped them win a championship in Cleveland a decade ago, they still haven't invited him back once. He made the comment during an interview with ESPN Cleveland, and it's definitely raising some eyebrows.

Like, you should take care of your players. Right. Like, that should be a thing. It shouldn't be a thing to where it's like, you look at some of these dudes who, and this is not my generation, this is generations older than me, like, who just go through hard times because they don't have it and you literally are a legend walking around the city. Yeah. Like, you've got to sell your championship rings and all that. Like, you're going, like, I get, you know, some people just not good financially with money and all that other stuff and whatever, whatever, but I'm like, you can't. They don't do nothing for you, bro? Like, you got a jersey in the rafters. They named this after, like, that's, to me, I just think that's crazy. I don't understand why that's not more of a thing. And the Knicks do the best job by far of making, I want a whole chip in Cleveland. They haven't invited me back once, and it's been 10 years. It's our 10-year anniversary. They haven't invited me back once.
