Hockey boot camp is fun. I had never skated before this show. Oh, yeah. But they cast me as Garrett Graham, so then I went to work. I had to learn how to skate. Yeah. And I picked it up right away. I am the fastest on the cast by a huge margin now. Oh, I love your confidence. Oh, I love your confidence. Yeah. It's disappointing for some of us who have been skating their whole lives to see me pick it up so quickly. Just soaring right by. Yeah. Yeah. But I have a lot of fun. Feels good, though. Feels so good. Yeah, it feels good until you fall. Yeah, and I go full speed into the boards a few times during practice. You're like a true hockey player. I'm popping right back up, though. You're athletic, though, right? You grew up playing sports. I played a ton of sports growing up, just not hockey. That's awesome. I heard you added a tattoo to your character, right? I did. Why? Yes. What was important? So Garrett Graham in the books has a tattoo, which is like a flame on his bicep. And so I knew that there was probably I was going to want to add a tattoo to him. And while I was building the character out, this mantra kept popping into my head. It was my high school wrestling mantra. It nullum gratuitum perandium Latin for there is no free lunch which basically means everything in life is earned everything has a cost And that is really who my character was So I kept thinking of it. I was writing it on my scripts, and I pitched the idea to our showrunners, and they ran it up the chain, and it got approved. And so I kind of got to put my fingerprints on the character, which is really special. Yeah, shout-out to Coach Champ, my high school wrestling coach. So you're, like, really well-rounded because also you played piano growing up, you were in a band growing up, you were in wrestling, all the sports. Like, do you still play? I still... I mean, were you always that happy playing? My mom made me... I got the faux hawk going in that one. Yeah. Yeah. Looking good. You got the tood. Yeah, I really do. Do you still play though? Do you still... I have an electric kit at home. Okay. Yeah, and that's really fun to play. I'm not as good. I was definitely better in that picture than I am now, because I had like a hiatus for a few years. Yeah. I don't have the same limb independence that I did when I was younger. Limb independence. Yeah, you know, to be able to do four different things with all of your limbs. No, I can't do it either. Ba-ba-ba-ba. Yeah, yeah.
