US Coast Guard intercepts migrant vessel off Desecheo Island
Federal authorities were monitoring a vessel carrying 40 migrants near Desecheo Island. A surveillance plane first located the disabled boat, after which a U.S. Coast Guard cutter was dispatched. As the cutter drew near, the vessel abruptly attempted to flee toward the coast of Puerto Rico. It was caught. #PuertoRico
