Jonah Hill revealed that he got revenge on Leonardo DiCaprio while filming The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), explaining that DiCaprio is a method actor who doesn't fully realize "it's acting," often roughing him up or punching him for real. In the sushi scene, the script originally dictated that the speaker (DiCaprio's character) would eat the last piece of yellowtail. However, on the first take, Hill improvised and offered the piece to Leo, repeatedly telling DiCaprio, "No, buddy, you have it." Because of continuity, "he had to eat like 80 pieces of raw yellowtail that night," Hill recalled. "He was throwing up into a trash bin," while he and Martin Scorsese laughed.
