Ethan Klein has stated that he would likely drop the lawsuits against iDubbbz and Noah Samsen if they offered sincere apologies. Klein said that from that moment, the rules changed. He claimed that even after his warning, they became more brazen, displaying provocative content. Regarding iDubbbz (Ian), Klein said the only apology he received came after a cease-and-desist, and he didn't perceive it as genuine. He reiterated that if Ian issued a genuine apology, he would consider dropping the lawsuit, as he doesn't believe Ian has ever truly apologized or acknowledged the harm. Klein expressed that all he ever wanted was a bit of decency from his friend, referencing Ian's association with Froggy Tonic, whom Klein called a psychopath. He said he asked how Ian could be friends with someone who spoke about his family in such a vile way, but Ian refused to condemn him. Klein stated he doesn't want to destroy lives or remain stuck in a traumatic lawsuit; he just wants acknowledgment of what was done. He said the same applies to Noah Samsen: if Noah issued a heartfelt apology, he would probably consider dropping the case.

It's really, it's really not, it's not. that's it that's all i ever wanted honestly and from the beginning when he was like friends with froggy tonic who was saying talking about he i don't remember what froggy tonic is a fucking psychopath i don't remember all the crazy shit that guy said but they're friends with him and i says how can you be friends with this guy and friends with me it doesn't make any sense this guy wants to like murder my children or he was engaging with the guy i don't i don't remember he fucking insane the point is um and he refused to he refused to say his his friend froggy tonic was being an evil scumbag talking about my family Like, all I ever wanted was a little fucking decency for my buddy. You know? So, you know, as traumatic as this lawsuit is for you, I don't want to do it either. Just make a sincere apology, bro. that's it. I'm not looking to destroy their lives or get caught in this quagmire of a sick, effed-up lawsuit. I don't want that. I don't want a lawsuit on my shoulders. That's all I want. Just a little fucking acknowledgement of what you did. And I said that even before the lawsuit. And honestly, the same is true of Noah Sampson. If he just issued a heartfelt apology, I'd probably consider dropping it. Just acknowledging like what you did and your part in it losing eyeballs because of them streaming it on their twitch channel they siphon a significant amount of views especially denims i would say but to me it's really a lot to do with we've had this ongoing conversation i don't know how charlie's waited on it before but like how reactors just were stealing people's content i mean everybody had a pretty strong opinions about it then like i don't i don't remember what his stance was what what side of that he fell on i mean we've been having the conversation lawsuits in general yes it's it's a lose-lose situation nobody's happy to be in it right i mean they say the lawyers are the only ones that win that's true luckily i like my lawyer and i want his kids to be well-educated and taken care of. It's really just, I just really like my lawyer. I don't care about the lawsuits. I just want to take care of him. Just make sure he's okay, you know?
