by Professional Portal ☀️: Movies
Zach Galifianakis revealed that he was tased for real while filming the police academy scene in The Hangover (2009), and the terrified kid in that scene wasn't an actor but one of the crew members' children. "The director wanted to really tase us." When asked, "With real electricity?" he replied, "Yes. I'm like, 'Well then don't hire actors!'" He also shared, "He calls me Fat Jesus. That was not scripted," adding, "Which is blasphemous." Galifianakis explained that getting tased in the face was actually his own idea. "I've seen tased on the body before, and I suggested, 'Can you tase me in the face?'
