SBF, Sam Bankman-Fried, coming out and asking officially here for a pardon from Trump. The FTX co-founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, if you're unaware, he's currently serving 25 years for a $10 billion fraud. He was the founder of the FTX platform, and he's now requested a pardon from Trump. So his crypto exchange, FTX, collapsed in 2022, wiping out billions in customer funds. And he was a former big donor to, I believe, both sides of the aisle and has been on Twitter essentially praising Trump left and right ever since Trump got in office, I guess, leading up to this particular moment here where he's asking for a partner. Yeah. And he also did a large investment into, was it Anthropic? One of them. Yeah. But obviously they liquidated that when the whole thing happened. so he didn't get to realize any of those potential gains. Yep. I don't think he's going to get one. Do you? I mean, so I was on RockSom TV yesterday talking about this a little bit and I was like, I feel like if he was going to give him a pardon, he would have done it by now. Probably. Why wouldn't he have already done it? He's excused a lot of the crypto people already. And what, the guy that was on there with me, he also said, well, it would be a little bit more risky right now because of the midterms. Yeah. There's a lot of people that don't like Sam Bankman so if you try to get him out of trouble now that it might actually play against you freaking hardcore no kidding yeah we super when are the midterms? in the fall I believe this year yeah
