This car can travel an incredible 2,145 miles using just one gallon of fuel. It was built by engineering students from Brigham Young University for the Shell Eco Marathon competition. The lightweight vehicle was designed to reduce drag and use as little energy as possible. It uses a small, high-efficiency engine, low-resistance tires, and an aerodynamic body to maximize fuel savings. The project won first place against teams from multiple countries. Technologies developed through projects like this could help create more energy-efficient transportation systems in the future, reducing fuel consumption, costs, and emissions.
