Some sad news regarding Jon Snow, the former Channel 4 news anchor. We're hearing that he's been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, the most common form of dementia. That according to the Alzheimer's Society. Jon Snow presented Channel 4 News from 1989 to 2021, making him the programme's longest-serving anchor. He had a long and illustrious career, of course, spanning more than four decades, reporting on major world events, including the fall of the Berlin Wall, conflicts in the Middle East, the release of Nelson Mandela. But we're hearing from the Alzheimer's Society that sadly he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
