Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

by Capucine · old hollywood: Johnny

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas came out 28 years ago today. Johnny Depp dedicated months to shadowing Hunter S. Thompson so he could absorb every mannerism for the part. Thompson went even further and allowed Depp to use some of the actual clothes he had worn back in the 1970s during filming. The two also posed together for a cheerful selfie, both smiling wide against a vivid red backdrop while Depp sported a scarf and jacket.
