This is Melissa Kerry Samnaff celebrating her 36th birthday last year. But just 12 months later, she would be dead after traveling to Jamaica for her 37th birthday. 12 hours after arriving on the island, Melissa was brutally killed. She was taken to hospital with serious head injuries. Police say she was dropped off by this man, 31-year-old Dane Watson, who has since disappeared. Who took her back to his Airbnb so that they could spend some time together. After they had their little fun, her husband, Dane, came to pick her up and took her back to his house. Sources say somehow he found out about Melissa spending time with her ex and he was so upset that he began to attack her. Sometime during this attack, Melissa managed to grab her phone and send a desperate text message to her sister in New York begging for help. She wrote, I need you to call the cops. Look at my location. It's this pink house. But this was the last text message her family would ever receive from her. As police investigated Melissa's death, they went to Dane's house and they found her clothes and pools of blood all around the home. But they can't find Dane Watson. Dane Watson aka Squitta is 31 years old and he is a local Jamaican man who is known to be a tour guide on the island. In 2021, it is rumored that he was connected with a different murder but he was never charged in that case.
