He even marked a red warning line in the forest at the border, and strictly forbade Hannah from crossing it on her own. Years of isolation left Hannah with no idea how the world worked. But her dodging eyes practically screamed that she was lying. Her father was ready to scold her like he always did. But this time Hannah suddenly snapped instead. She demanded to know who really killed her mother, and why they had been hiding in the mountains all these years. This incident also made her father suddenly realize that his daughter had grown up and some truths really had to be told now. Meanwhile, Hannah could not fall asleep for a long time either. Her mind was full of everything she experienced outside that day. At first light the next morning, she rushed back to the spot where she met Jason and apologized to Jason for acting recklessly the day before. After seeing that Jason did not seem mad, she asked if he still had that snack from yesterday. The way Hannah wolfed it down made Jason start getting suspicious.
