As Ethan slid down the zip line, he was completely oblivious to the fact that his safety harness was already fraying. Instead, he wore a relaxed grin, savoring the thrill of the ride. It wasn't until he was halfway across that he noticed something was wrong. Panicked, he grabbed the steel cable above him, hanging suspended in mid-air. But it was already too late to fix the problem. Scared out of his wits, Ethan wrapped his legs tightly around the cable and screamed for help at the top of his lungs. By the time the safety officer arrived, Ethan was already exhausted. The officer did his best to clamp onto Ethan's body, but less than two seconds later, Ethan plummeted straight down. His wife Lila watched the entire horrifying scene unfold. She yelled at the staff to call an ambulance, then sprinted down the hillside. Using the marks on the cable, she pinpointed the approximate spot where her husband had fallen. She pulled out her phone and called him, following the ringtone until she found him, barely breathing and on the verge of death. Strangely enough, once Ethan was loaded onto the ambulance, the paramedics refused to let Lila ride along. They were on vacation abroad and with a language barrier Lila didn want to delay his treatment She grabbed a business card from the hospital urged the ambulance to leave immediately then hopped on her motorcycle and chased after it But halfway there, a car suddenly darted out in front of her. Lila couldn't swerve in time and crashed hard onto the ground. By the time she struggled to her feet, the ambulance was long gone. Everything felt like it had been premeditated. Sure enough, when Lila finally reached the hospital, the front desk nurse told her they had no record of admitting a patient like Ethan. She panicked, instantly, rushing to several other hospitals, but none of them had any trace of him. Helpless, she went to the police station to file a report. But the officers just had her fill out a form and sent her home to wait. Stranded in a foreign country, Lila felt more helpless than ever before. Soon after, Ethan's family arrived. The next day, she went with them to meet the police chief. To provide more clues, she led everyone to the zipline staff. But to her shock, the staff flatly denied ever having seen her and Ethan. Lila was completely dumbfounded. The whole situation was getting more and more bizarre. If that was the case, she decided to find her husband in her own way. After all, having grown up around her gangster father, she was no ordinary fragile woman. And her first target was the zipline staff member who'd lied to the police.
