Did you know when most Americans hear hemorrhoids, they think surgery? But most don't need to be cut out. There's a treatment called rubber band ligation. It's like wrapping a tiny rubber band around a balloon's bottom. Doctors place a small band at the base to cut off the hemorrhoid's blood supply.
