Nico Paz tribute to Jesús de Miguel

Nico Paz put the ball in the net against Lens in the UEFA Champions League, then turned and walked the other way. No celebration. He went to the bench, came back with a jersey, and held it up: a photo of Jesús de Miguel with "Rest in peace" on it. His face was doing that thing where you're clearly fighting to keep it together and not quite winning. De Miguel wore the Tenerife shirt, and he kept showing up for that club in the same city Nico was born in, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, right up until the end. That detail is what makes it land. Nico could have picked any tribute. He picked the one tied to where he's from. Respect doesn't need a passport, and he's got everyone's after this.
