Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 43 points vs Cavaliers

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put up 43 against the Cavaliers and that's the whole reason OKC isn't staring down a third straight loss. Two in a row had piled up, a bunch of key guys were out, and the setup was right there for a skid nobody in Oklahoma City has dealt with since the 2023-24 season. Instead the defending champs held their record together without the full roster, which is what a two-time MVP is for. The Thunder keep answering whenever things get uncomfortable, and having that kind of closer means a losing streak never gets to breathe. Fr, that's the luxury of elite talent on a short-handed night.
