Josué Dany Ortiz Maldonado and Owono stadium incidents

Football should never end this way. That's the thought that hits hard after seeing what went down in Spain, especially when you can't shake the memory of a tragedy back home during Clásico 211. Josué Dany Ortiz Maldonado, known as the Red Angel and originally from Las Palmas de Coatepeque, died right there on the pitch after a collision with Mario Rafael Rodríguez. You might know him better as The Madman. It is impossible to separate these two events; they are sporting accidents where footballers lost their lives inside stadiums, separated only by time and location. I am certain neither The Madman nor Owono meant to take anyone's life, but the outcome remains the same devastating loss. My heart goes out to the families left behind. SAME TRAGEDY, DIFFERENT ERA AND SCENARIO.
