Lil Durk placed in solitary confinement

Solitary confinement at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles is where Lil Durk, legally Durk Devontay Banks, is being held, per TMZ. Jose Rojas, secretary of the Bureau of Prison Union, confirmed the move into the Special Housing Unit happened on October 30. What sources say led there: cell searches that kept repeating after his acquittal in a federal murder-for-hire case, with no contraband turning up any of those times. He reportedly pushed back on why the searches kept coming, got reprimanded, and ended up in solitary. Federal custody is still where he sits, with other charges hanging over him tied to an alleged murder-for-hire scheme plus weapons counts. Bond is what his legal team is pursuing as things move along
