Taylor Swift wrote Toy Story 5 end-credits song

The end-credits song for Toy Story 5 came together faster than most people finish a coffee. Andrew Stanton says Taylor Swift wrote 'I Knew It, I Knew You' in a few hours, and the timeline is almost absurd: she watched an early version of the film at 10 AM alongside her brother Austin, and by noon she had already contacted Stanton to pitch writing the track. That evening, Disney's head of music delivered the news that she had finished it. Stanton assumed he was hearing a repurposed unreleased song, so learning it was brand new got a "Wow, get the f out of here." out of him. He called Swift "a beast" and admitted the final version left him emotional, comparing the moment to the first time Randy Newman performed 'You've Got a Friend in Me'. Hours of work on her end, yet Stanton said it felt like "a lifetime" to create. Math is math.
