Haley Stevens endorses Mike Rogers

Greg Manz, a GOP spokesman, is calling Rep. Haley Stevens' endorsement of Mike Rogers in the U.S. Senate race "courageous." Her pick of the Republican nominee over Democrat Abdul El-Sayed is drawing praise from Michigan Republicans, and per Manz, loyalty to party came second to the state's interests. He didn't stop there, alleging El-Sayed holds a "radical Islamic ideology" and suggesting Democrats who've soured on their side might see a reason to back Rogers. The party is playing up the switch without missing a beat. CNN / Writer: Marie #HaleyStevens
