Martha Stewart Halloween costume statement

Martha Stewart opened up to Page Six about the backlash swirling around her Halloween outfit, which was styled as a homeless individual. She expressed genuine distress that the costume hurt feelings, clarifying that the whole point was always to shine a light on the serious issue of homelessness rather than cause offense. According to her statement, homelessness remains one of America's greatest challenges and an ongoing crisis that she cares deeply about. Stewart also noted that she has dedicated significant time and effort toward supporting charities working to combat this persistent social epidemic. #MarthaStewart
