Harry Kane Ballon d'Or ovation at Allianz Arena

Harry Kane's first walk out at the Allianz Arena as the Ballon d'Or winner got the whole place on its feet. Over 75,000 fans stood to applaud him, and that ovation came from Borussia Dortmund supporters too, the rival team, in Der Klassiker before Bayern Munich and Dortmund even kicked off. His face did the rest, tears welling up, and honestly I get it. For a man plenty of people wrote off would never win anything, this was about as good a welcome as it gets. The man they doubted ended up with the Ballon d'Or, and the tribute he got in return is the kind of thing that gives you goosebumps. Postcard of the year, no argument from me. HONOR TO WHO HONOR IS DUE.
