Cody Rhodes and Triple H Street Fighter

The world already knows the group is coming together to film Street Fighter, but that wasn't the part that made Cody Rhodes nervous. He admits he was actually terrified to approach Triple H about it because Hunter is his coach and guide in wrestling, someone who treats the business with such seriousness that keeping the WWE title alive feels like a massive risk to take away. It's not just about the crown; it's about making sure every single fan gets something out of the live shows on SmackDown, Raw, PLE, and NXT. Triple H wants the young fans happy, the old fans happy, and the hardcore fans happy all at once, covering such a huge swath of people that removing the biggest title we have felt like a gamble Cody couldn't easily make. Yet when he finally brought it up, the conversation turned out to be one of the most pleasantly surprising ones ever. They agreed to lock down dates and work out the logistics without relying on those traditional dramatic exits where you just set things on fire or throw them off the Tron. Instead, they wanted ideas on how everything could flow naturally rather than forcing a book-them-on-the-way-out moment. If every negotiation goes as smoothly as that one did, it would be the greatest gift ever. Wrestling has to remain number one for WWE, and back then, since Cody was the WWE champion, it needed to be number one for him too. The difference is that Hunter just has this larger worldview that only comes from experience. More of the younger talent needs time to get reps in with Hunter so they can truly understand who he is right now. Once they do, they'll see that he is the perfect person and the only person who could lead WWE.
