🌍 BINANCE HACK UPDATE: ABOUT HALF OF THE STOLEN $6.3B IS NOW FROZEN Binance's new statement (Oct 30, 4:47 AM ET): - The hacked laptop wasn't the only way in. Investigators found more breach points - About $3B frozen so far, with partners (e.g. Tether, Circle) still working to freeze more - Binance says it will cover all losses from its own funds and SAFU (Secure Asset Fund for Users, its emergency reserve) - Withdrawals are set to resume in about 45 hours. Deposits work normally - No more money has left since withdrawals were paused Binance says it's working with law enforcement and hasn't named the attacker.
