Achraf Hakimi FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

Achraf Hakimi lays out a timeline where trust evaporated fast. He says the marriage to Hiba Abouk lasted from 2020 to 2023, but he spotted the money grab just two months in. That suspicion triggered an immediate shift: every single asset got registered under his mother's name in a trust structure. The split happened roughly one year after they tied the knot. A specific morning argument changed everything; she told him she could file for divorce whenever she wanted and insisted on splitting his wealth equally if she did. That threat confirmed he was dealing with someone who saw the union as a financial setup. He went to his mother and laid it all out. She responded by reminding him that she carried him for nine months and worked hard to build his success, stating no outsider should come out of nowhere to bring him down. They moved everything right then, including his personal clothes and the soccer jersey he wears to play matches. When the divorce came and she asked for half his fortune, Hakimi said it didn't bother him at all. She even threatened to ruin him afterward, but he laughed inside because she had no plan while he had one. She ended up surprised when she realized he had nothing left and his mother was the one handling everything. In court, she cried not because the marriage was ending, but because she walked away with empty hands, just like she arrived. Hakimi wraps it up with a blunt lesson for men: friends will betray you, wives will betray you, but a mother's love is supreme. After the divorce was finalized, he and his mother danced together.
