Lionel Messi Newell's Old Boys return

A Newell's Old Boys return for Lionel Messi is being planned for January 2027, and the word is he's nearer to it than at any other point. Wearing that jersey once more would come after a gap of over 25 years, back at the boyhood club. Nothing official has come out yet, so maybe hold the parade. If it lands, a historic homecoming is on the horizon in Argentina. Calvi31 has the reporting. #LionelMessi
