The act of spray-painting 'just stop killing kids' across the names on the 9/11 Memorial at Ground Zero has drawn sharp condemnation. Councilman David Carr didn't mince words, calling it desecration and labeling the person responsible a lowlife. It's hard to ignore that this specific vandalism happened right where victims are memorialized, turning a protest message into something far more offensive.
