Moonwalker poster Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson conceived Moonwalker as something entirely distinct, a fever dream of Bad Era hits rather than a standard film. The project includes Speed Demon claymation chases and scenes with robot transformations alongside the immortal Smooth Criminal sequence. Leave Me Alone plays out within this universe, while MJ's cover of Come Together transforms The Beatles song into a high energy funk and pop-rock track. It feels less like a movie so much as a portal from the imagination of Michael Jackson. This anthology of pure magic remains unlike anything else in his catalog.
