Chelsea vs Liverpool Carabao Cup

Carabao Cup football is on the menu, and Chelsea versus Liverpool has no obvious favourite attached to it. Xabi Alonso and Andoni Iraola get their first meeting in this competition, which adds a layer to the whole thing. Form-wise Liverpool look the sharper outfit with four wins and a single loss across their last five, while Chelsea come in on two wins, one draw and two defeats. Does that gap decide it? Liverpool's form edge is real, yet the result stays open, so Chelsea have a chance to answer on the pitch.
