train drivers in Spain are set to walk out for a full 24 hours on Oct 29 across all Renfe companies. the Semaf union originally called this safety-focused strike back on Oct 16, which was before the recent crash in Toledo that left 50 people dead. reports from Semaf indicate that commitments made after the January Adamuz accident, where 46 people died, have not been fulfilled. there is an assertion that train drivers were already aware of unsafe conditions within the rail system.
