Netanyahu vs Eisenkot Israel election odds

the exit polls people were told to watch for still haven't dropped, and the ballot boxes are open until 10:00 PM Israel time. what's on the line is a head-to-head between Benjamin Netanyahu of Likud and Gadi Eisenkot, the former army chief running with Yashar. the last polls before voting put neither bloc at 61 seats, so no majority was in reach for either side. Eisenkot has said he won't lean on Arab parties, and that closes off the obvious route for both camps. soldiers' ballots don't get counted until Wednesday and could tilt things toward the right. a final tally is expected by Friday, with official results set for November 4. whether Bibi actually goes is likely, but the political situation stays complicated, and nobody can say yet what coalition ends up governing. watch for exit polls later in the day.
