Willian Pacho 20th in Ballon d'Or

Defenders don't usually get this kind of shine, so Willian Pacho landing 20th in the Ballon d'Or is worth a moment. The PSG man is Ecuadorian, and what he brings at the back is the whole case: strength, timing that's basically perfect, and the composure to go with it. That's a rock. Going from Ecuador to a stage like this says plenty about the climb, and the recognition is official. Fair play to him. #WillianPacho
